DeKalb County Fair: Alexandria, Tennessee

Alexandria is home to the DeKalb County Fair, known affectionately as the "Grandpa Fair of the South" (follow this link to learn about the fairgrounds). Jack and Faye came by on a cold Sunday after attending church to open up the Kenneth Sandlin Center building for us. It was warm inside and there was a stove that Brenda used to cook. It would have been a miserable night if they hadn't opened the building for us.

I was late catching up to you guys from Nashville and I slept in my truck that night... little did I know you were in the warm building! ha ha
